Jacob spends most of his free time in college participating with Whitworth’s nationally ranked Speech and Debate team.
Jacob graduated with a 3.97 GPA from Cedar Park Christian High School and got a 1960 on the SAT. Jacob was raised in a Christian home and was either home schooled or in private Christian education for the entirety of his academic career. Surrounding by a loving and Christian family provided Jacob a foundation to grow strong and confident in his faith. Because of the passion for faith his family had, Jacob readily became involved in missions work and community service with his church, Canyon Hills Community Church. Jacob went on several mission trips, his favorite being Rancho de Sus Ninos in Tecate, Mexico, where his team worked at an orphanage for a week. Jacob has a passion for serving in the children’s ministry at his church. Because of this he developed a close relationship with his church’s elementary pastor, Larry Williams. With Larry, Jacob went on many training trips with the elementary students to prepare them to go on international missions trips in middle and high school. Additionally, Jacob served for many years as a leader at elementary summer camps through his church. |
